My eventful day was fillled with formal appointments and not-so-formal ones, with both planned and impromptu meetings. Basically, I've had 2 career-related meetings, delivered my trinklets to Raffles City and met my favourite buddy for a teeny weeny bit of shopping, dinner and ended our day at Wine Bar, right outside our favourite party hang out during our younger days.

We were totally satisfied with just a couple of screams and martinis, people-watching, bitching, and catching up (replicating, as PwCians would call it) even though we didn't take a single step into the club, a place we used to derive pleasure from.
"I've not clubbed properly for a long time!", she said and I echoed.

Definition: a planned trip to a club, with ample time to dress up in an appropirate party attire, with sufficient booze, good music, good company and most importantly, without 'I gotta reach school/work early tomorrow' on your mind so that you can 'tar' all the shoots you like and party till the dance floor lights up. Preferably no big time drama-mamas involved, no jealous other-half calling and yelling into the phone and no attempts to outrage one's modesty under the influence of alcohol (guys and girls alike!). It ideally starts with no cover charge (well, at least for ladies =P) and no queue and ends with supper and someone sober enough to get into the driver's seat.
